The Ultimate Modern Home, is what we created with our awesome client in King City.

Our design parameters were simply put; White, Bright, Modern, Risky.

So we began.

The kitchen design lead to a bright white kitchen, with channelled cabinet handles to eliminate additional hardware distraction. Large quartz slab countertops, back-painted backsplash glass panels in our clients’ favourite accent colour, concealed stainless steel fridge and refrigerator drawers, and a must-have custom stainless steel exhaust hood to scale with the impressive island and built-in appliances.

Large white heated tile flooring is consistent throughout the entire home.

Each of the three washrooms continue with the challenging meticulous details of zero-curb showers, linear trough floor drains, wall hung heated toilets, wall hung vanity cabinets, steam shower, soaker bathtub, privacy glass when required, artful ceiling suspended faucet, vanity mirrors that transform into TV’s.

The master bedroom was the true risk undertaken by our client. Instead of traditional separated rooms, we wanted to keep the modern feel consistent in this room, and take chances. So we lined the full back wall with custom built deep closet cabinets complete with sliding cabinet door fronts. We kept the bed central focused in the room. But instead of closing the remainder of the space, a black tiled-knee wall developed and ultimately defined the distinction of spaces. The washroom details were carefully crafted to reflect the overall room balance.

It is truly a unique experience from the moment you step into this home, and one that is not easily reproduced. Thanks to our client’s willingness and desire for something different, we ended up here. It was a blast creating this space.
